  • How much deposit do I need?

    The larger the deposit or equity in your home the better as lenders base the interest rate they borrow on against the risk to them.


    Typically the minimum deposit required is 5% although this may be reduced in some circumstances.

  • How much can I borrow?

    This is a question we can really only answer following an initial appointment with you.

  • What if I have bad credit?

    Bad credit doesn't have to be a barrier to having a mortgage. We have relationships with mortgage lenders who specialise in helping those with adverse credit, CCJs and debt management plans.

  • What documents will you need?

    This will vary lender by lender.


    But as a minimum, lenders will ask to see your most recent payslip, although if you are paid mainly by commission/ overtime or with bonuses lenders will want to see a track record of these.


    We'll also need a form of Photo ID such as a driving Licence or Passport. Along with a utility bill such as a bank statement, council tax bill or mortgage statement.
